The advances Trimm has made in 3D engineering have seen us engineer some of the largest superyachts to date. Our teams are capable of using various software solutions such as ShipConstructor, AVEVA, Rhinoceros 3D, Siemens NX, Inventor, Solid Edge and Siemens NX.

We offer a complete suite of yacht structural engineering solutions from initial vessel design concepts through construction, classification and ongoing technical management. This is also provided in various 3D software tools like Siemens NX, Rhinoceros 3D and Cadmatic.

We provide a custom-tailored approach for each project. Instead of relying on standard 2D arrangements, we often start with a 3D approach. This provides us with more insight and the possibility to simulate more interactions to detect collisions and allows for more precise manufacturing.
When the design is near completion, building preparations often begin. Part of this process for Trimm includes a complete building package that would result in the construction of the vessel. As shipyards often have their own construction standards, these yard-specific standards are incorporated into the building kit provided by Trimm. This ensures a smoother and less troublesome process from start to finish—saving both time and money.
